We have meticulously developed a technical-focused apprenticeship program that combines on-the-job training with classroom sessions for young people interested in learning a skilled trade. Selected Apprentices gain the unique opportunity to work beside and learn from some of the most talented craftsmen in the country and are paid a monthly allowance, with the allowance increasing as the apprentice completes stages of the program.

  • Currently, BlackHole Engineering offers a variety of apprenticeships which fall under one of these skilled trades:

    • Welders
    • Fabricators
    • Pipe Fitters
    • Riggers
    • Painters
    • Mechanics
    • Electricians
    • Insulators
    • Structural Fitters
    • Carpenters

Whereas our internship program is short-term, mostly lasting up to 3 months, apprenticeships can last up to 2years. Selection into our apprenticeship program involves competitive evaluation processes that go a long way to assure the success of any apprentice we select to train.
